“Don’t underestimate Small Humble Beginnings, because sometimes they can turn out to be the Great Success Stories” – Jeannette Coron

In today's "Scooter Sunday" ride, I break away from my usual safe and secure Petaling Jaya car drive with Mr. Travis, and break through into Kuala Lumpur (KL)!
My scooter is a Vespa Primavera 150 Spirit I call JuJu. I got it as a 60th birthday present from my husband. It was pre-owned by a film production company that used it for a photo shoot. It had only 25 kilometres on it.
Today my final destination is Bulatan (Circle) KTM with a short stretch on the Federal Highway and the rest via upscale Bangsar. While I ride I listen to the blues by Chester Malone.
Along the way I pass historic landmarks, including the Old Railway Station (1910), the Railway Administration Building (1917), and the Majestic Hotel (1932). Rumour has it that Room 48 of the old Majestic Hotel is haunted. So, I swing by the front desk to find out if it is true.
Today's scooter ride is 20km and 30 minutes long, and I hit a top speed of 80 kph. What I enjoy most in this "My Scooter Sunday", is the cool of the morning, the wind in my hair, and the idea I broke into KL!
Scootin' off for now!
